My friends and I wanted to set up a lemonade stand at the end of my driveway. We didn't have any of the powder mix to make lemonade so my friends thought "Oh no, we can't make any!"
I said "We use real lemons or lemon juice - it's really easy. Do you want to make some?" So, I grabbed the organic lemon juice and my friends and I added water, ice and stevia and stirred. They loved the way it tasted.
We set up the stand and got lots of customers. We made $15 in half an hour - by selling six cups of lemonade, two smoothies and some organic snacks like O'coco's and frozen lemonade, a.k.a. Italian ice.
We made the signs that said our stuff was organic so our customers gave us high tips. We said that we made our lemonade with stevia and told them that we think it's better for your body than sugar. Two moms had never heard of stevia and bought more for their kids. They said they felt good not giving their kids all that sugar so their children wouldn't be bouncing off the walls. I also told them where they could by it for themselves.
My friends and I split the money - $5 each. I ended up doing this with some of my other friends. The next time we also had frozen smoothies. They were a big hit.
Luke's Lemonade Recipe - One Gallon Container
1/4 bottle of Santa Cruz Organic Lemon Juice
Fill the rest of the container with water - ours is filtered.
Add some stevia to sweeten it. We use the liquid kind for lemonade.
You can freeze this and sell it as frozen lemonade.
Luke's Smoothie Recipe
Organic Rice Milk
Frozen organic blueberries
Frozen organic strawberries
Fresh organic peaches from my tree
Ice
Stevia
Put it all in the blender and hit mix.
You can serve it like that or sometimes we take the mixture and put it back in the freezer and sell frozen smoothies that people can eat with a spoon.
