Sometimes you just want French Fries. But how much better it is to feel good about
eating them because they are not deep fried and you know just how they're made. These
oven-baked "fries" can be as crispy as you want to cook them. You can also vary their
size and shape according to your preference from steak fries to shoestring. Do weigh
the potatoes you start with though, and realize that 12 ounces turn into 4 of our
portions. As with other starchy side dishes, portion control is the key.
